These Crochet Curls are a fun decorative element to add to a key ring, cell phone, purse or scarf.
*NB: For this crochet pattern I am using the British Triple Crochet which is the same as the American Double Crochet*
You can use any number of colours or yarns as the goal is to create a unique and recognizable combination for yourself. I've done each of the three coloured curls a different length. I used 20 chain stitches, 24 chain stitches and 28 chain stitches. You can make them as long or as short as you wish, just alter the number of chain stitches at the start.
To Make a Spiral
work 20 (24) (28) Chain Stitches
1st. row. Work 2tr into the 4th ch, *3tr in next chain* to end of chain. Cut yarn and finish off the spiral.
When it is done I spin the curls to encourage them to hang right. They stay in place after I've done that.
I've strung them from the center chain at the finish of the curl onto a cord.
