This is a Crochet Pin that belonged to my grandmother who was the matriarch in a Saskatchewan farm family.
It is extremely tiny crochet. It looks like it was crocheted with sewing thread weight cotton.
The Crochet Pin is 2 3/4 inches long.
The Safety Pin on the back is 2 inches long.
It would destroy it to take it apart to make a pattern. It looks like the petals of the flowers are all crocheted individually.
The Pin looks like it was stiffened, probably in those days with the sugar and water technique, and then coated with something to make it water repellant. If I were to do it now I would use the sugar and water and then coat it with urethane.
