The Best Websites for Crocheted Roses

This Crocheted Roses was inspired by the stylizaton of the Art Deco Period in design and has that traditional feel about it.

Crocheted Rose Rings for those of you who love to go over the top. I particularily like the way the leaves are handled, enough to give the colour contrast without overpowering the roses.

Crocheted Flowers...Roses

Crochet Pink Roses

This is the same pattern I developed looking at the roses in my grandmother's doily. Click to see the original roses on the doily. The roses in my grandmother's pattern have been stiffened using sugar water and are as hard a rock. They might be fine that way on a hat but are too hard for garments or hair ornaments. These softer roses are perfect for garments, hair ornaments or pins.

The sugar stiffened roses are too hard for regualar use. If the dampened in the rain they would lose their shape and if they were crushed they would stay crushed. If your are interested you can See the Sugar Stiffened White Roses.

I use the British names for the stitches. Conversions are found at

Pink Crochet Roses

Pink Crochet Roses

These go together much more easily that the white crochet roses with the sugar stiffening technique.

These petals are arranged with the chain side of the double crochet facing out from the centre the reverse of the White Crochet Roses.

Start with the small center ring of petals and tack them together.

Next add the middle ring of three petals, tacking them in place, one at a time.

Repeat with the ring of four petals.
