Crochet Flower

Mini Rosette

This small Crochet Flower is a lovely, understated detail. It's low contrast colour makes it perfect for dressing up an existing top or in this case, I have used the crochet flowers to hide a small stain on the front of my t-shirt. It is just right for one of my favorite summer skirts.

I use the British names for the stitches. Conversions are found at

Rosette Pattern

Work 8ch. Join into a circle with ss into first ch.

1st. Round

2c, 11dc into ring, ss to 2nd of 2ch

2nd. Round

2ch, 1dc into ss, 1dc into next dc, *2dc into next dc, 1dc into next dc. Repeat from * to end, ss into 2nd of 2ch. 18sts.

3rd. Round

2ch, 1dc into ss, 1dc into each of next 2dc, *2dc into next dc, 1dc into each of next 2dc. Repeat from * to end, ss into 2nd of 2ch. 24sts.

4th. Round

2ch, 1dc into ss, 1dc into each of next 3dc, *2dc into next dc, 1dc into each of next 3dc. Repeat from * to end, ss into 2nd of 2ch. 30sts.
