Make Christmas Tree Ornaments

Craft Supplies:

• Felt Sheets
  
• DMC Embroidery Floss
• Buttons

Build up layers of felt using Cross Stitch and Blanket Stitch using all six strands of the embroidery thread.

Use the drawing below to make patterns and cut the shapes from the drawing in red and navy blue, or the colours of your choice. Use Cross Stitch to attach the red heart to the navy blue heart. Attach the yellow buttons to the two layers using Cross Stitch in the holes in the button.

It is your choice, you can have plain red or navy felt on the back or you can make the back match the front of the ornament.

Stitch the front and back of the ornament together using blanket stitch.
