Felt is perfect for Christmas Ornaments. It is reasonable in cost and easy to find. I just pop over to the dollar store or the fabric store: I like having all the colours to work with. Actually I check all the stores to see if they have any colours that I might not have.
Felt can be used with most embellishment techniques; Beading, Embroidery, Painting, Glitter Glue and touches of Crochet can all be used to add unique touches to your felt projects.
The best thing felt Christmas Tree Oranaments are the easy way they are to finish. Just cut the felt shape you want and it is done; no hemming or sewing on a back that needs to be turned and stuffed. Fancy finishing is pretty but sometimes it is great to just cut it out and it is done.

Folk Art Inspired Felt Ornaments
I am particularly fond of felt ornaments for a folk-art style of christmas tree. This collection appears to be starting with fairly traditional images. There is a part of me that always loves the traditional christmas.
Felt Pink Kitty Cat Collection
These are for all the cat lovers in the crowd.
Felt Ornaments with Crewel Embroidery
This is a new set of Felt & Embroidery ornaments that places more emphasis on traditional crewel style embroidery and yet finishes using a cut away method that I find both quick & colourful. The thing I like best about this finishing technique is being able to spend my time with the embroidery that I've enjoyed since childhood and yet all I need to do to finish it is to attach another layer at the end with a running stitch and it is done.
